A concordance is an alphabetical index that contains the principal words of a collection. Concordances, like indexes in a book, allow for quick and easy lookup of words or topics. For example, in order to lookup all of the sayings that contain the word “good” you can go to the letter “G” and select “good” thereby displaying the respective sayings.
